WARNING: You May Need Tissues

Okay, so I may or may not have teared up at the ending of “The Best of Me” by Nicholas Sparks. I don’t know how he does it, but he is amazing at creating exposition in a way that immediately brings you into the story and instantly identify with the characters. I immediately had a soft spot for Dawson, the male protagonist. As much as I liked this book, I completely loved and hated the ending. As much as I understood why the ending was what it was, Amanda, the female protagonist, started to completely annoy me. She refused to go where I wanted her to or say what I wanted her to say. Even though I will continue to believe that if what the story was, led where I wanted it to lead, the novel would have been so much better, the ending was beauty, even if I had some resentments about it.

Have any books you want me to read and review, leave it below in the comments.
